USIS Expands Into Audiovisual Systems Integration
U.S. Information Systems (USIS), a leading nationwide provider of network infrastructure solutions, announces the opening of USIS Audiovisual – a newly established division specializing exclusively in audiovisual system integration. The new group will focus on two primary technology applications – corporate presentation, training, & videoconferencing; and next generation, LEED-based building management solutions.
The division will be headed by Bill Baretz and Todd Hutchins, two audiovisual experts with a collective 40 years of industry experience. Throughout the duration of their careers, the two have worked in both the manufacturing and integration sectors of the audiovisual industry. Prior to joining USIS Audiovisual, Mr. Baretz and Mr. Hutchins worked side by side at Verrex Corporation as well as Crestron Electronics.
“True audiovisual system integration requires expertise that extends far beyond the technology, because it needs to be carefully coordinated with every aspect of a construction project – millwork, electrical, IT, ceiling tile systems, lighting, and HVAC,” said Mr. Baretz. “Today’s successful AV system deployment requires that an integrator not only have a strong command of the technology, but an equal level of expertise in architecture and construction.
