Experienced AV Control System Programmer
About the Role
Onsite: Candidates must be in the Metro New York/New Jersey region to be considered for this in-office role. You’ll be based in our Pearl River NY HQ. This role is Full-Time | Standard Hours 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday – Friday.
Our AV Control System Programmers bring AV systems to life by creating intuitive and reliable control experiences tailored to how our clients actually use their spaces and systems.
Compensation Range
The projected compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 annual dependent on relevant experience, education, skills, and certifications.
How You’ll Contribute to the Team: Responsibilities

Develop and deploy Crestron, Q-SYS, and Extron control software solutions.

Collaborate, develop, and deploy USIS customized: UI offering(s), Modules, Libraires & Templates.

Collaborate with other departments during the QC and field commissioning phases.
What You’ll Need to be Successful: Competencies + Skills

Familiarity and ability to use multimeters, digital and analog test generators, and other electronic test meters required for Final Approval Level Checkouts.

Detail oriented, collaborative team player and leader.

Ability to follow and enforce process and procedure.

Adept learner and adaptable to new systems, processes, and procedures.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in C#, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks from inception through completion.

Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret conceptual and AV build drawings.

Perform commissioning and acceptance testing of code.

Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting as needed.

Demonstrate completed system to client.
What We Require for the Role: Qualifications + Certifications

AVIXA CTS certification is required, CTS-D is preferred.

Fluency in Crestron SMPL Windows, Crestron Simpl+ and VTProE.

Experience and knowledge of C#.

Bonus for experience in Crestron Simple Sharp/-Pro.

Bonus for experience in Crestron Construct.

Bonus for Crestron Master Certified Programming Certification.

College degree or certification in graphical user interfaces (GUIs).

College degree or certification in line code based programming.

A valid driver’s license is required.

Ability to pass drug and background screenings is required.
