At our prominent financial services client’s NYC headquarters, our USIS project team and partners brought synergy to intentional spaces, technology, and infrastructure, to create an environment that supports results-critical operations.
Our client selected USIS as a single-source design/build partner responsible for AV and the IT network & communications infrastructure. They saw USIS’ non-siloed approach yield an accelerated project timeline & unified design package, zero scope-gaps between technologies & stages, and continuity from design to integration through to warranty support and service.

Purpose Designed Infrastructure
A significant benefit to the client was a purpose-designed infrastructure to support leading-edge AV systems and critical IT needs. An advanced AV ecosystem is only as reliable as the backbone supporting it. In Financial Services, downtime costs. A stable, powerful IT network and communications infrastructure is essential.
Driving Results-Critical Financial Operations
Our client’s office environment is fast-paced and intensely collaborative. The physical workspace serves as the hub for complex work and rigorous data analysis. The client prioritized AV as a driver of operational efficiency and teaming, complete with video conference, wired & wireless content sharing, BYOM connectivity, call-privacy, digital signage, and systems control capabilities.
Optimizing Key Workspaces
-
The Boardroom is often used to host in-office and hybrid meetings with c-suite attendees and committees, focused on high-level agendas. Meeting equity was paramount, ensuring remote guests and in-room participants have the same quality video and audio experience. System highlights: five 98” LED displays, videoconference codec with dual-display and multi-camera support, in-table device connectivity, wireless presentation, video switcher and routing, active-speaker tracking cameras, tabletop beam tracking microphone arrays with LED status indicators, ceiling beamforming microphone arrays, DSP processor, ceiling recessed speakers, and control panels with custom-programmed room controls and native control of multiple UC services (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
-
Multi-seat Conference Rooms can easily support daily huddles, quarterly reviews, and management meetings. Simplicity with flexibility was vital so that any team member can confidently utilize the system and pertinent UC platform without IT support. System highlights: support of multiple UC platforms, dual-displays for simultaneous data/video viewing, all-in-one conference bars, in-table device connectivity supporting BYOM so users can leverage in-room peripherals such as speakers & cameras via their own laptop, wireless presentation, tabletop microphone array with LED status indicator, and tabletop control panel with native control of multiple UC platforms.

The Employee Café acts as an amenity space contributing to the firm’s workplace experience and culture with an LED display anchoring the visual experience. The environment is ideal for workday-breaks and fostering spontaneous interaction.
