USIS AudioVisual Renews Its AVIXA AV Provider of Excellence Distinction
Why continuing to uphold the AV industry’s highest standard of excellence is more critical now than ever
September 21, 2021 | NEW YORK, NY - USIS AudioVisual, delivering design/build/service solutions for a digital and built environment’s AV technology stack, announced it has once again been recognized as an AVIXA AV Provider of Excellence, earning the APEX distinction. The AVIXA APEX program is a recognition program for professional AudioVisual firms dedicated to upholding industry excellence by providing quality service to customers. USIS AV has held the APEX designation since 2016.
“Being recognized as an APEX solutions provider reinforces our commitment to excellence in the industry,” said USIS AV’s Vice President of Operations, Joseph Legato. “Our process driven approach combined with the standards set forth by AVIXA offers our team and clients with a rewarding experience. Employing industry best practices and demonstrating skills attained assures our design and integration quality is paramount to our success.”
APEX is the top organizational certification a Pro AV systems integrator can earn based on sanctioned best practices and certifications. To earn its APEX, USIS AV met, and must annually uphold, five key indicators of industry excellence: continuing education, certifications including AVIXA’s Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) credential, client satisfaction, and requirements of two ANSI/AVIXA standards: the Standard Guide for AV Systems Design & Coordination Processes and the AV System Performance Verification Standard.
“The APEX designation gives AV companies a mark of distinction in the marketplace,” said David Labuskes, CTS, RCDD, AVIXA’s Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer. “Customers of APEX companies can be confident of the AV provider’s professionalism and commitment to ongoing training, customer service, and dedication to excellence.”
